A: When your current hosting provider can no longer satisfy the needs of your website, or when you experience regular downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the client service team to respond back to you, it might be smart to change your provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites along with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At TMV Host, we are aware that this can be difficult and time–consuming. That is why we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our highly accomplished technical staff representatives will migrate your site content from your present hosting provider to us. Our techs have lots of experience migrating web sites and can handle everything – from a common WordPress–driven blog or Joomla^™–based website, to an extremely complex, custom–made application.

A: While we cannot give you an exact ETA, since there are lots of variables, among them the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to transfer your site within 48 hours, and in some cases – within 24 hours (in case the website content is not large).

A: We will require the login details for your current hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the website’s name (domain name).

A: User privacy is among our fundamental priorities – that’s why, both our payment transaction page and our Control Panel login page are secured with enterprise–class Secure Sockets Layer certificates. We employ safety measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial operations to secure the data that we assemble on the Internet. And we’ve also got a very detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we gather.

A: Your site will continue to work exactly like it did before with your old web hosting provider. After we are done with the migration, your site will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we’ll alert you to preview it. If it is functioning properly, all you will have to do is change the NS resource records corresponding to your domain. Your website will be transferred to us with no downtime whatsoever.

A: Nah. We’ll never touch base with your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the web site transfer either.

A: We can transfer your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–based web hosting platform so long as we can access the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only web sites that we can’t migrate are those based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
