Multiple OS in VPS Hosting
We provide three different Linux distributions for the Operating System of our virtual private servers - Debian, CentOS and Ubuntu. These are among the safest and the most reliable OSs available on the market and we supply all three of them rather than only 1 since we realize that you might want to set up some software which has specific requirements for the Operating System it will run on. The latter is because each of the three Operating Systems has a vast support community behind it and there're different software programs you could install on the web server. Your OS choice will also determine exactly what hosting Control Panel can be installed on the VPS if you would like to use one and that's why we offer multiple Control Panels too. In the event you decide that you need some other OS, our technical support can quickly wipe the existing one and install the one that you need. We also offer an optional service to maintain the OS on your VPS updated weekly.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Web Hosting
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server solutions - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they're cost-free and they will not increase the cost of your new hosting server, but also because they are outstandingly stable and secure. Each one of them is backed up by a big community of developers, so you will be able to choose from thousands of software packages that you could install on your server if the app that you intend to employ has specific requirements. The Operating System will also determine what internet hosting Control Panel you can use since the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with specific OSs only and since we would like to give you as much freedom as possible, we offer a couple of OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a given OS, we can change it upon request if it turns out that you will need alternative one. We could also keep your OS updated on a weekly basis as a part of the additional Managed Services upgrade.
